AI-driven producer development.

Grow 2Gether is the GT-AI Network's producer development venture. We register African smallholders into the digital agricultural economy — with blockchain-anchored farm identity, AI-driven agronomic support, and precision farming intelligence built on the GT-AI knowledge layer.

The Strategic View

G2G is the entry point. While Ubuntu Agri Sciences operates active programmes at scale and T2G provides the commercial demand signal, G2G is the venture that builds the producer base — registering farmers, structuring their operations, and feeding their data into the GT-AI knowledge layer.

This page sets out the model and the AI capabilities that make it work. For programme partners, DFIs, and government bodies engaging on specific country or commodity programmes, please get in touch.

AI at the Farm Gate

What G2G delivers, and how the GT-AI knowledge layer makes it scale

Farming models from the GPD

The Global Product Directory holds best-practice agronomic models for every commodity in the network — by varietal, region, and production regime. G2G applies these models to specific farm contexts, customising the operational guidance each farmer receives. As the directory grows, every farmer benefits from the experience of every other.

Precision farming integration

Real-time signals — weather forecasts, satellite imagery, soil sampling, IoT sensor data — feed continuously into each registered farm's profile. AI flags interventions, optimises input timing, and surfaces risks before they cost yield. Precision agriculture without the cost of bespoke deployment.

Blockchain farm registration

Each farm is registered with a tamper-evident, blockchain-anchored record: location polygons, agronomic model, yield projections, certification status, input usage. Provenance and compliance are not retrofitted at trade — they are built in at registration. The farm becomes machine-readable from day one.

AI-driven operational processing

Day-to-day decisions — when to plant, how much input to apply, when to harvest, when to dry, when to deliver — get AI support from the start. Farmers don't need to become data scientists; the platform does the reasoning. Smallholder operations gain the planning rigour previously available only to industrial agriculture.

Certification, Built In

G2G facilitates producer certification under the mainstream standards buyers actually require — turning an annual paperwork ordeal into a continuous output of normal farming activity.

Organic

EU Organic, USDA NOP, JAS — equivalence handled across producer and destination markets.

Fair Trade

Fairtrade International (FLO) and Fair Trade USA. Premium calculation and farmer payment evidence captured automatically.

Rainforest Alliance

RA / UTZ unified standard. Audit-ready data flow from registered farms straight into certifier reporting.

Global GAP

Global GAP and country-equivalent schemes for fruit, vegetables, and high-value horticulture exports.

EUDR Compliance

Plot-level geolocation, deforestation-free verification, due diligence statements — generated from the same farm record that drives day-to-day operations.

Country & Buyer Standards

Kenya Tea Industry, Kenya Coffee Board, ISO 22000, HACCP, plus buyer-specific schemes. The platform pre-populates each scheme's evidence requirements from the registered farm record.

The Producer-Side Knowledge Layer

G2G is the venture that registers smallholders into the GT-AI Network — and the venture that proves the architecture from the producer side.

The Stakeholder Directory becomes the canonical farm record. Each registered producer is a structured, enrichable, network-shared entity rather than a row in a programme spreadsheet.

The Integration Engine ingests the satellite, weather, and soil signals — turning external data feeds into farm-specific intelligence in near real time.

The Global Product Directory provides the agronomic protocols, varietal-level guidance, and yield benchmarks that drive operational recommendations.

The Knowledge Domain Architecture keeps farm activity, agronomic knowledge, and stakeholder data cleanly separated — so each farm registered increases the value of the network without surfacing private data inappropriately.

The output: a producer base that is investable, compliant, and digitally legible. Ubuntu's offtake operations consume it. T2G's trade flows depend on it. The network gets stronger every time a farmer registers.

The Foundational Position

G2G's position in the GT-AI Network is foundational.

For producers, G2G is the entry point: registration, agronomic support, precision farming intelligence, blockchain-anchored identity. Smallholders gain the operational rigour of industrial agriculture without bearing the deployment cost.

For Ubuntu Agri Sciences, G2G is the supply pipeline that makes EUDR-compliant programmes operationally feasible at scale. Producer registration upstream means compliance documentation downstream.

For T2G, G2G is the producer base whose data and capacity unlock the demand-side trading flywheel. Without registered, modelled, traceable farms, AI-driven sourcing has nothing to source against.

Without G2G, the network has data tools without farms. With G2G, every other venture compounds in value as the producer base grows.

Capability Status

The capabilities described on this page span those operational today and those being built out as the producer base scales. Blockchain-anchored farm registration, the Stakeholder Directory, and the Integration Engine are core network infrastructure already in place. The Global Product Directory's full agronomic library, precision farming integration, and AI-driven operational processing are being deployed in waves alongside live programmes — programme partners receive a current capability map as part of any engagement.
